I know that many are having a hard time finding things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We have faced so much turmoil and loss, not only nationally, but globally. It’s easy to give way to despair if we do not try to see past the doom and gloom perpetuated by social media platforms and headline news. We need to start looking for signs in the small things that tell of better things to come. People pulling together in a community to help those affected by the pandemic. The strength we have all showed by adapting to the new and changing world the pandemic has created. The first responders that worked tirelessly making sure that people in need of help were being taken care of. The signs of goodness in humanity are everywhere, we just need to be willing to see them. I am thankful for every day that I have on this beautiful planet, for every moment I spend with those that I love, for every time my eyes and mind are open enough to pick up on the signs all around me that speak of tenacity, kindness, and a bright and promising future for us all. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, take the time to truly see, all there is to be thankful for!
